After an early breakfast in Arusha, begin your journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Witness the endless plains and breathtaking skies on this scenic 7-hour drive. Arrive at your budget campsite just in time for dinner and a night under the stars.
Budget camping
After enjoying a morning game drive and an early lunch, you’ll head toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, our skilled and knowledgeable driver will share insights about Tanzania’s wildlife and stunning landscapes. In the evening, you’ll arrive at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, set on the crater rim, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night surrounded by nature.
Budget camping
After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Explore one of the world’s top wildlife destinations and keep an eye out for the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy your lunch near the hippo pool, where you can relax with views of the lake and watch hippos cooling off in the water.
In the afternoon, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, a scenic 3-hour drive, with drop-off at Karibu Heritage House.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from Summit Safari Lodge to begin your scenic hike to Materuni Waterfall.
The trail winds through lush valleys and tropical hillsides, passing coffee, banana, avocado trees, and a variety of local flora. Along the way, soak in the natural beauty and rich culture of the area. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch prepared by the Chagga community before continuing your journey to Chemka Hot Springs.
Though the drive is bumpy and winding (about 40+ minutes), the views of rural Tanzanian life make it worthwhile. Upon arrival, unwind in the crystal-clear hot springs, swim, relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy your lunch. Later in the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha to end your day.
