Day 1: Materuni Waterfalls

A day of adventure: Kilimanjaro, Materuni.

Join us for an exciting day starting at 7:30 am. Your journey takes you through the picturesque villages of Kishumundu, leading to the stunning highlands of Materuni village near Kilimanjaro. A 45-minute hike will take you to the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall, followed by an immersive coffee tour.

Afterward, you will return to Arusha for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the comfortable Karibu Heritage House.

Experience a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, cultural exploration, and relaxation for an unforgettable day!

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

You’ll embark on a thrilling safari adventure in Tarangire National Park! After a hearty breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel for a scenic 2-hour drive to the park. Known for its majestic elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife.

From our open-roof vehicle, take in the sights of seasonal swamps, expansive savannahs, and the impressive Tarangire River. Be prepared to witness a variety of wildlife, including colorful birds, graceful giraffes, impalas, zebras, powerful lions, elusive leopards, elegant elands, playful warthogs, and mighty elephants.

You’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your game drive. As the day comes to a close, head to Fig Tree Lodge to relax, savor a delightful dinner, and unwind for the night.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

You’ll begin your day with breakfast and a scenic drive to Serengeti. Despite the long journey, the exciting game sightings along the way make it an adventure. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before an afternoon game drive, followed by a breathtaking sunset.

In the evening, you will relax at Seronera Campsite with a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay amidst Serengeti’s vast, serene plains.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park.

Your day begins at sunrise with a full-day game drive, taking in the breathtaking scenery while searching for the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife. After a hot lunch at the campsite, you’ll continue your adventure with an afternoon game drive. Serengeti is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including over 500 bird species such as ostriches, secretary birds, and black eagles.

As the sun sets, you’ll return to camp for a delightful dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the wonders of Serengeti’s natural beauty.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, your adventure begins bright and early at 6:00 am with an exhilarating sunrise game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting active wildlife. Afterward, enjoy a delicious breakfast at a scenic picnic site in the bush.

Your game drive will continue, providing more opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife before returning to camp around noon for a hearty hot lunch. Following lunch, you’ll load up the vehicle and head towards Ngorongoro.

In the evening, you’ll arrive at Simba Campsite for dinner and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, after an early breakfast, you’ll begin your descent into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. This remarkable area is home to a diverse range of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, which you may be fortunate enough to spot.

You can choose to enjoy a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake or have a hot lunch at the camp, depending on your preference.

Following your exploration, you’ll head to your next accommodation, Fig Tree Lodge, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind for the night.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll take a short 5-minute drive to the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is rich in diversity, and renowned for its tree-climbing lions. A key highlight is the stunning salt lake that covers a significant portion of the park, which experiences seasonal changes, attracting thousands of graceful flamingos and over 300 other bird species.

The landscape offers a captivating mix of grassy plains, dense woodlands filled with primates, and cliffs adorned with towering baobab trees. Your return to Arusha is approximately 4:00 pm, though flexibility will be maintained in case there is a flight to catch.
