Suggested Two-Day Family Tarangire Safari Experience
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, meet your guide at your Arusha accommodation and begin your journey to Tarangire. Allow approximately 2.5–3 hours by road, depending on your pickup location and conditions.
After completing entrance formalities, begin your game drive. Explore the park while your guide looks for wildlife and explains the surrounding habitats. Keep your camera ready, but also take time to simply watch the animals.
Stop for lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, travel to your confirmed lodge or tented accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Family focus: Tell us your children’s ages so we can suggest suitable departure times and breaks.
Day 2: Breakfast and Return to Arusha
Enjoy breakfast before returning to Arusha. The departure time will depend on your accommodation location and onward arrangements.
