Four-Day Tanzania Safari Tour Package
This itinerary starts and finishes in Arusha. We recommend arriving at least one day before departure so you have time for your safari briefing and an early start.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Meet your guide and travel to Tarangire for your first game drive. Explore landscapes dotted with baobab trees while looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your visit before continuing to your overnight accommodation near the park or in the Karatu area, depending on your confirmed package.
Day 2: Travel to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Serengeti. This is a substantial travel day, with changing scenery along the route.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you continue toward your campsite or tented lodge. Wildlife sightings depend on conditions, but every drive offers something different to discover.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drive and Ngorongoro Highlands
Head out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti. Your guide will search for wildlife across the plains and around suitable viewing areas.
Later, travel toward the Ngorongoro highlands for your overnight stay. Accommodation location and departure timing depend on the itinerary and park permits.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Descend into the crater for a game drive, exploring its grasslands, wetlands and other habitats. Look for lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and, with luck, a black rhino.
After your visit and picnic lunch, return to Arusha. Confirm onward flight arrangements with us before booking so we can assess the timing.
