You travel in a shared 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, an English-speaking guide, and a maximum of seven guests. Each guest has a window seat.

Camping equipment includes a tent, mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow. Public campsites have shared toilets and showers, and a safari chef prepares your meals.

Shared itineraries follow a set route and schedule. Our standard shared Serengeti departures visit Central Serengeti; Northern Serengeti and Ndutu require a private itinerary.

Private Budget Camping Safari

A private camping safari combines affordable accommodation with a dedicated vehicle and guide. It is suitable for travellers who want greater flexibility over stops and daily timing while keeping accommodation costs manageable.

Your final price depends on the number of travellers, safari length, route, and travel dates. Travelling together as a larger party spreads the vehicle cost across more people.

Private Lodge Safari

If a private bathroom and a proper bed are priorities, ask for a private safari using reasonably priced lodges or tented camps.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into the crater for a game drive, followed by lunch and the return journey to Arusha.

If you plan to fly after the safari, share your flight details before booking so we can assess whether the departure time works with the itinerary.
