Day 1: Welcome to Arusha
Meet our team at the agreed arrival point and transfer to your accommodation. Your consultant will review the itinerary, answer questions and help you prepare for departure.
Day 2: Journey to the Serengeti
Leave Arusha after breakfast for the journey to Central Serengeti. This is a substantial travel day, with changing scenery along the way. After entering the park, enjoy wildlife viewing as time and entry arrangements allow before continuing to camp.
Day 3: A Full Day of Wildlife Viewing
Spend the day exploring with your private guide. Take a packed lunch to make the most of your time in the park, or discuss a schedule suited to your accommodation location. Your guide will plan the route around conditions and recent sightings.
Day 4: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Area
Enjoy another opportunity for game viewing before travelling towards your next accommodation. Staying near Ngorongoro prepares you for the following morning’s crater visit.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and Return
Explore the crater with your guide before returning to Arusha. An additional hotel night or onward airport transfer can be included when requested.

When Should You Travel?
