Arukore Simba Camp – Serengeti
Untamed Spirit, Timeless Safari

A Wild Heartbeat Beneath Serengeti Skies

Cradled in the sweeping savannas of the central Serengeti, Arukore Simba Camp is where the call of the wild echoes freely and nature writes the day’s agenda. This is classic safari territory—rich with wildlife, golden horizons, and the primal rhythms of predator and prey. Whether it’s the roar of a lion at dawn or the graceful passage of a giraffe through the grasslands, every encounter here is unscripted and unforgettable.

At Arukore Simba Camp, simplicity meets soul. It’s not about luxury for show—it’s about authenticity, comfort, and a deep connection to one of Africa’s most legendary landscapes.

Rooted in the Land – A Camp with Character and Care

Built for those who seek meaning in the wild, Arukore Simba Camp blends rustic charm with practical comforts. Its design respects the Serengeti’s fragile ecosystem, with low-impact structures that nestle into the landscape rather than dominate it:

  • Spacious canvas tents with real beds, cozy bedding, and warm Maasai-inspired décor

  • Private verandas where zebras may graze just beyond your gaze

  • Eco-conscious bathrooms with solar-heated water and conservation-minded fittings

  • A layout designed to provide privacy, peace, and panoramic views of the plains

  • Soft lighting powered by the sun, casting a gentle glow after sunset

Here, you live with the land—not just on it.

Safari as It Should Be – Wild, Wonder-Filled, and Wonderfully Real

The Serengeti is a living storybook of nature, and Arukore Simba Camp is your front-row seat to its most iconic chapters. The camp offers curated experiences that invite you to observe, learn, and engage with this land in its truest form:

  • Daily game drives led by seasoned guides who know every track and trail

  • Opportunities to witness the Great Migration during key seasons

  • Encounters with the Big Five—and the lesser-known, equally mesmerizing small wonders

  • Evenings by the fire, sharing sightings and stories under a sky alight with stars

  • Optional bush walks and cultural exchanges with local communities

It’s not just about seeing animals—it’s about feeling the pulse of the wild.

Nourishment in the Bush – Honest Food, Shared Stories

Mealtimes at Arukore Simba Camp are an essential part of the safari experience—hearty, healthy, and full of flavor. Whether you’re dining in the mess tent or out in the open air, every bite is a celebration of simplicity and sincerity:

  • Daily menus using locally sourced ingredients and familiar East African staples

  • Comforting dishes prepared fresh, with vegetarian options always available

  • Packed picnic breakfasts for early starts and fire-lit dinners under the stars

  • Tea, coffee, and refreshments served with warmth and intention

  • Communal dining that fosters connection—or private meals on request

Because here, food is more than fuel—it’s a memory in the making.

Assad!

Very good safari road trip Great value for money. The organization by Kilipath was perfect: they were available, responsive, and everything ran on schedule. The team is extremely motivated. The jeep was spacious and comfortable, with power outlets to charge phones (although they didn’t always work). Our guide, David, was an excellent driver and did everything he could to make sure we were satisfied. He was very friendly and always in a great mood. The choice of lodges was excellent: spacious and luxurious. Lunches were very well organized, especially when eaten out in the middle of nature. However, we do not recommend the tent camp if you are looking for a minimum level of comfort (toilets, electricity). It also lacked atmosphere, even though there were many guests. Some light entertainment or welcome activity from our arrival around 4 p.m. until the evening would have been appreciated.Small bonus (or a big one in our opinion!): Kilipath gifted us a wonderful T-shirt!

A great experience for the whole family. We booked a three-day stay with Kilipath African Safari. Lydia was very helpful and accommodating from start to finish in planning the trip and arranging all the arrangements. After arriving in Arusha, we visited Tarangire on the first day, and the next day we drove to the Ngorongoro Crater with the same driver, Mayunga. We were happy that we were able to observe wild animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, hippos, flamingos, buffaloes and others in their natural environment of beautiful nature. We were also lucky and saw the big five, although the rhino was very far away, at least that's what the driver told us. :) The driver was very communicative and was able to answer our questions about not only the animals, but also the lives of the local people, interesting facts from history and some information about tribal conflicts. On the third day, together with our guides Lydia and Geofrey, we visited the Materuni waterfall with a breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro. During the ride to the waterfall, we used the time to chat with our guides and learned a lot of interesting information about the life and customs of the people of Tanzania. After swimming in the waterfall, we visited a local village for lunch with a demonstration of coffee processing, including roasting and subsequent tasting. At our request, the guides took us to a shop with truly beautiful goods, where we bought local pictures in the Tinga tinga style. :) All services provided and arranged by Kilipath African Safari were at a professional level and we recommend this trip to the mainland.

10/10. 2-day Safari Tarangire NP & Ngorongo Crater We asked for a quote 2 days before we wanted to leave for safari, because we got led on by another company that charged double (1500$ per person) at the last second. Within 30 minutes of asking for a quote we made the down payment (yes we we’re skeptical but we had good faith) and I can assure you everything went as smooth as it gets. Plane tickets were booked within 12 hours (because of a national holiday otherwise it would’ve been quicker), and the Tour operator arranged every step of the way. Transfer from hotel to the airport and back, on time. Had an amazing time at the Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Seen all of The Big Five and our guide Adam was amazing. Credits to him for being as excited as we were to encounter rare sightings as the rhino, as well as a family of elephants drinking and bathing in the same pool of water. 10/10 would recommend Kilipath Safari’s, we had an amazing time with them. See you in the next one! ALWAYS BRING BINOCULARS OR A FAR LENS CAMERA. (Iphone 17 pro or better will do as well)Ps. Posted the same review at safari bookings. Do your research to see if you can book directly with Kilipath Safari. (We didn’t)Ps 2. 2-day safari, the atmosphere was amazing, tanzania is warm & welcoming of tourists. Day 1 we had 4 people in a jeep, day 2 we had 7 (still enough room for everyone). Best for travelers who want to see more of what nature has to offer and are not afraid to wake up early for it.

Professional and punctual Really well organised, highly recommended. The vehicle is neat, the guide is thoughtful. The food is good although the first camp site needs a proper washroom facility.

Great driving, organization to improve At the end of September we participated with kilipath in a 5-day safari and the experience itself was unforgettable, especially thanks to our guide George, a really exceptional person: professional, helpful and very prepared. Thanks to him we were able to see all the Big 5 and fully experience the magic of the safari.Unfortunately, the organization did not live up to the quality of the experience. After paying a 30% deposit by bank transfer before departure, we were required to pay the remaining amount in the middle of the road via POS, without issuing a receipt.Due to the large amount, the transaction went pending pending approval, but the clerk continued to repeat the operation, generating more charges to the account. One of us is still waiting for a full refund. In summary, the safari was wonderful thanks to the guide, but the organization and management of payments should be more transparent and professional.
