Travelers should plan to arrive in Arusha the day before departure. A pre-safari overnight gives you time to rest, prepare your luggage, and be ready for the morning pickup.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Leave Arusha in the morning and travel to Tarangire for your first game drive. The park is known for elephants and striking baobab landscapes, providing a memorable introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. TANAPA
Explore the park with your guide, stopping for lunch during the day. Later, continue to your budget accommodation or campsite around Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, depending on the confirmed itinerary.
