What They Say About Us
We organise safari and beach holidays to Tanzania. We believe our expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm for organising travel to Africa is unrivalled.
Joaquín B2026-01-24Great experience The 4-day safari was excellent, the guides were superb and respectful of nature. The accommodations were excellent. Prisca de Kilipath always made sure we had the best experience.
Radim Slezák2026-01-20A great experience for the whole family. We booked a three-day stay with Kilipath African Safari. Lydia was very helpful and accommodating from start to finish in planning the trip and arranging all the arrangements. After arriving in Arusha, we visited Tarangire on the first day, and the next day we drove to the Ngorongoro Crater with the same driver, Mayunga. We were happy that we were able to observe wild animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, hippos, flamingos, buffaloes and others in their natural environment of beautiful nature. We were also lucky and saw the big five, although the rhino was very far away, at least that's what the driver told us. :) The driver was very communicative and was able to answer our questions about not only the animals, but also the lives of the local people, interesting facts from history and some information about tribal conflicts. On the third day, together with our guides Lydia and Geofrey, we visited the Materuni waterfall with a breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro. During the ride to the waterfall, we used the time to chat with our guides and learned a lot of interesting information about the life and customs of the people of Tanzania. After swimming in the waterfall, we visited a local village for lunch with a demonstration of coffee processing, including roasting and subsequent tasting. At our request, the guides took us to a shop with truly beautiful goods, where we bought local pictures in the Tinga tinga style. :) All services provided and arranged by Kilipath African Safari were at a professional level and we recommend this trip to the mainland.
Marina V2026-01-18Very amazing trip Lydia is the best! We love our experience so much. There was good accommodation and not bad food. We have seen big five and many other animals.
Wouter G2026-01-1710/10. 2-day Safari Tarangire NP & Ngorongo Crater We asked for a quote 2 days before we wanted to leave for safari, because we got led on by another company that charged double (1500$ per person) at the last second. Within 30 minutes of asking for a quote we made the down payment (yes we we’re skeptical but we had good faith) and I can assure you everything went as smooth as it gets. Plane tickets were booked within 12 hours (because of a national holiday otherwise it would’ve been quicker), and the Tour operator arranged every step of the way. Transfer from hotel to the airport and back, on time. Had an amazing time at the Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Seen all of The Big Five and our guide Adam was amazing. Credits to him for being as excited as we were to encounter rare sightings as the rhino, as well as a family of elephants drinking and bathing in the same pool of water. 10/10 would recommend Kilipath Safari’s, we had an amazing time with them. See you in the next one! ALWAYS BRING BINOCULARS OR A FAR LENS CAMERA. (Iphone 17 pro or better will do as well)Ps. Posted the same review at safari bookings. Do your research to see if you can book directly with Kilipath Safari. (We didn’t)Ps 2. 2-day safari, the atmosphere was amazing, tanzania is warm & welcoming of tourists. Day 1 we had 4 people in a jeep, day 2 we had 7 (still enough room for everyone). Best for travelers who want to see more of what nature has to offer and are not afraid to wake up early for it.
Rozeena R2025-11-24Professional and punctual Really well organised, highly recommended. The vehicle is neat, the guide is thoughtful. The food is good although the first camp site needs a proper washroom facility.
benjaminparis112025-11-20Super tour Great trick, nothing wrong. Very good orga, we were able to observe many animals including the famous top 5. I recommend
Oscar H2025-11-06A fantastic magical journey! The team of KiliPath African Safaris was an excellent choice for our safari, Prisca ut together an amazing safari plan for us and was very quick to answer any questions we had. Our guide George was very professinal, kind and knowledgeble. His expertise made our vacation even more amazing.
Sabrina B2025-10-27Great driving, organization to improve At the end of September we participated with kilipath in a 5-day safari and the experience itself was unforgettable, especially thanks to our guide George, a really exceptional person: professional, helpful and very prepared. Thanks to him we were able to see all the Big 5 and fully experience the magic of the safari.Unfortunately, the organization did not live up to the quality of the experience. After paying a 30% deposit by bank transfer before departure, we were required to pay the remaining amount in the middle of the road via POS, without issuing a receipt.Due to the large amount, the transaction went pending pending approval, but the clerk continued to repeat the operation, generating more charges to the account. One of us is still waiting for a full refund. In summary, the safari was wonderful thanks to the guide, but the organization and management of payments should be more transparent and professional.
Boon Ho N2025-10-27Jambo Jambo Tanzania 7D6N Safari + Kilimanjaro Day Hike (Coca cola route) + Materuni Waterfall 1. 5 star for the Safari - excellent follow up from Happy day to day to make sure our trip is smooth and fun. Tarangire, Serengeti, Nogrongoro and Manyara lake are all interesting and we did enjoy the safari very much. Many many many animals and birds. 2. 5 star for the Materuni waterfall hike and coffee tour. Easy hike through local villages and green plants, with view of Kilimanjaro Peaks. The coffee tour with lunch is excellent to taste the local food and how local coffee are made. 3. 2.5 star for the hike from Marangu gate to Mandara hut. The rainforest is green and pretty. However, hike all the way through thick forest, took a picture at the hut and rush back was not so fun - 16 km, from 10am to 5pm. There is no viewpoint for the peak nor for valley. It is just too rush for day trip, better to skip this and do the Materuni waterfall hike. Our mountain guide Sumali just walked and walked. There is no explanation no talking just rushing and keep pushing us to go back, mentioning we need to go out before 6pm, in reality we were back to the gate 1 hour ahead.Accommodations: 1. Love the Misako Migration Camp in center Serengeti, luxury and comfort in the wild. There were waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes (afar) wondering around the campsite. 2. Tanzania Bush Camp Mara River in northern Serengeti is also great, just a bit less after staying in Misako. Always zebras wondering around and there are vultures and Malabu storks on the roof and trees. 3. Marera valley lodge - luxury room and fantastic dinner. I would recommend this over Farm of Dreams lodge. 4. Farm of Dreams lodge - looked amazing from outside, with show and entertainment before dinner, but the room, services and food is much better in Marera valley lodge. 5. Pre and post-safari accommodation in Arusha - Summit safari lodge. Okish hotel with all you need, clean and comfy bed, just we struggle with the hot water for shower. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari. 6. Pre-Kilimanjaro day hike - Whitehouse Hotel in Moshi. I love the window/balcony with Kilimanjaro view. Both rooms we had had no hot water for showering, just brave the cold. The waiters are friendly but they only cook on order, "slowly", waited 1 hour 30 mins for our dinner. Recommend to upgrade to a better hotel to match the hotels during safari.Tips: 1. Extra3.5% if paying the tour by card, be prepared or prepare cash. 2. It was stressful for our guide to rush from northern Serengeti to get to the southern exit by noon. I would pay extra to stay another night in central Serengeti so we can be more relax and enjoy more the safari. 3. Upgrade the hotels pre/post safari.Thank you Happy and Geoffrey from Kilipath, and our safari driver James for the wonderful experience!
Silje T2025-10-27Bucket list adventure Overall great communication with our tour operator Prisca. Easy and quick to answer any questions when we reached out and she followed up during the tour and we felt really looked after. The driver were very helpful if we needed anything, Assad and Luka more than helped us with our wishes. What a trip! We did a shared group and got paired up with two other couples in the same age group, which was a bonus! We all clicked well and enjoyed this trip with lots of memories stored 🫶🏼We've been lucky enough to see even the elusive Cheetahs, leopard and black rhinos - an absolute pleasure! And of course alot of other animals. The second day we drove in to Serengeti- a bucket-list item checked! We saw the vast plains and pretty quickly some lions basking in the sun. The elusive Leopard that was eating his prey up in a tree was the highlight of this day! Second day gave us three male lions sunbathing and chilling and an big elephant roaming the plains. Ngorongoro Crater gave us 4 of the big 5 in the first hour, even baby lion cubs that wandered right beside the car! This was everything and more for a dream come true 🫶🏼🩷🦁
