Suggested 7-Day Tanzania Honeymoon Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. We can arrange a transfer to your accommodation, where you can rest after your journey.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Travel to Tarangire for your first game drive. Explore landscapes of baobab trees and open woodland while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.

Overnight: Lodge in the Tarangire area or Karatu, depending on your selected route.
Day 3: Journey to Central Serengeti
Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands towards the Serengeti. This is a substantial transfer day, with scenery along the route and wildlife viewing after entering the park, time permitting.
Arrive at your tented camp and settle in for dinner.
Overnight: Central Serengeti tented camp.
Day 4: Full Day in the Serengeti
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti with your private guide. Search for lions, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife while enjoying time together in the wilderness.
Discuss your preferred departure time and lunch arrangements with your guide. An optional balloon safari can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and weather.
Overnight: Central Serengeti tented camp.
Day 5: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Area
Enjoy another game drive before travelling towards Ngorongoro. Your departure time will depend on the location of your accommodation and park permit arrangements.
Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.
Overnight: Ngorongoro-area lodge or Karatu accommodation.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Depart early for a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Explore its grasslands and other habitats while searching for wildlife.
After your crater visit and lunch, return to Arusha.
Overnight: Arusha hotel or lodge.
Day 7: Departure or Zanzibar Extension
Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule, or continue to Zanzibar for the beach portion of your honeymoon.
