Sample 5-Day Private Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Meet your guide in Arusha and travel to Tarangire for a game drive with lunch during the day. Tarangire’s river attracts concentrations of wildlife, particularly during the dry season. TANAPA
Later, continue to your booked accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Travel to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti. This is a substantial transfer day, with sightseeing along the route and a game drive as time allows after entering the park.
Enjoy dinner and overnight at your selected Serengeti camp or lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drives
Spend the day exploring Serengeti with your private guide. Discuss whether you prefer an early departure, a full-day outing with a packed lunch or a schedule suited to your accommodation location.
Return to your camp or lodge for a second night in Serengeti. Wildlife sightings depend on animal movements and conditions on the day.
Day 4: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Area
