Serengeti National Park
For an itinerary including Serengeti, we consider both your game drive time and the journey to your accommodation. Spending additional nights here on a private safari can give you more time to explore without changing accommodation every day.
If you have a particular migration experience in mind, tell us when you intend to travel. We will discuss a suitable area and route. Wildlife movements and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Ngorongoro Crater
A crater visit can be combined with Serengeti and Tarangire. Your proposal will explain where you stay before the visit and how the crater excursion connects with your next destination or return journey.
Additional Stops
Depending on your schedule, we can discuss Lake Manyara, a cultural visit, Materuni Waterfalls, or Chemka Hot Springs. These should be added with enough time to enjoy them, rather than squeezed into an already busy safari.

Example: Four-Day Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
Begin with pickup in Arusha and travel to Tarangire for a game drive. Continue to your arranged accommodation afterward.
Day 2: Travel to Serengeti
Travel toward Serengeti, with game viewing after entering the park as time permits. Stay overnight at the campsite, lodge, or tented camp listed in your proposal.
Day 3: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Area
Enjoy a morning game drive before traveling toward your next overnight stop. Departure timing depends on park entry arrangements and your confirmed route.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and Return
Visit the crater before returning toward Arusha. Any onward flight or airport transfer must be planned around the safari’s expected finishing time.
For an early shared safari departure, plan to arrive in Arusha the previous day.

Shared Tanzania Safari
A shared safari allows you to divide vehicle and guide costs with other travelers. It can suit solo travelers and guests who enjoy meeting people during their trip.
Kilipath shared safaris accommodate a maximum of seven guests in a safari vehicle, with guaranteed window seats. The group follows a coordinated route and schedule.
Our shared routes do not include Northern Serengeti or Ndutu. If these destinations are your priority, ask us about a private itinerary.
Private Tanzania Safari
A private safari gives your party a dedicated vehicle and guide. It allows greater flexibility when planning overnight stays, game drive time, and additional activities.
Private travel is particularly useful when your group has specific interests, young children, or accommodation preferences. Daily plans still need to account for park rules, road conditions, and transfer distances.
