Suggested 5-Day Private Safari Package

This itinerary combines Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, with two nights in the Serengeti to give you more time to explore. Arrive in Arusha the day before departure so you can begin your safari comfortably.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your guide collects you from your Arusha hotel before you travel to Tarangire. Spend the day exploring landscapes known for elephant herds and ancient baobabs. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the Karatu area. TANAPA

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Central Serengeti. This is a substantial travel day, with changing scenery along the route. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling into your lodge or tented camp for dinner.

Day 3: Explore Central Serengeti

Dedicate the day to wildlife viewing with your private guide. Explore different areas as conditions and sightings allow, pausing to observe animal behaviour and take photographs. An optional sunrise balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Area

Enjoy a morning game drive before continuing towards the Ngorongoro area. Your departure time follows the applicable park permit schedule. Spend the evening at your accommodation, with dinner and time to rest before the following day’s crater visit.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Depart early for your crater game drive, followed by a picnic lunch. Afterwards, travel back to Arusha, where your safari ends. Confirm any onward flight with our team before booking so that enough transfer time is allowed.
