Your Safari and Beach Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Arusha
Meet your transfer driver at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and settle into your hotel. Attend a safari briefing and prepare for the journey ahead. Arriving the day before departure gives you time to rest.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha for a game drive in Tarangire. Explore the park with your guide, stopping for a picnic lunch before continuing your wildlife search. Overnight near Karatu.
Day 3: Journey to Serengeti
Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Central Serengeti. This is a substantial driving day, with changing landscapes along the route. Enjoy wildlife viewing after entering the park, then settle into your selected camp or lodge.
Day 4: Explore Serengeti
Spend the day exploring with your private guide. Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife while enjoying the open landscapes. Sightings vary naturally. An optional sunrise balloon safari requires advance booking and costs extra.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
